What people are saying about The Little Witch Adventures:

Raidas (40 yrs.): 👍

During the first part of the book, a whole world is created, and the reader is invited to just settle in and enjoy the slowly unfolding everyday life of the Little Witch. To navigate this world, one must be aware of dogs and children, as being only three inches tall, they might sit on you.
Then suddenly from one moment to the next, something happens that changes the characters’ lives forever. The plot leaps forward into a break-neck rhythm, and she’s surrounded by unpredictability and danger. In the aftermath of those moments the wisdom of a life lived in a yes, with no hesitation, and no need to figure things out is palpable. Her unspoken approach is, “what to do when life challenges you?” when there is no time to think? Her answer is her sponteneity and authenticity.
This is not a philosophy book. It is an adventure, with a lot of action. And still in some mysterious way I feel the story of the Little Witch has touched something of the essential in life through a character who is fully alive, connected with nature and herself.
One doesn’t need to ponder about life and all its mysterious beauty to enjoy this story. But don’t be surprised dear reader if that happens. All that’s needed to cross over into that world is an adventurous spirit.

A Witch with Panache!
This is a delightful story — both original and profound. A young reader will enjoy the traditional details and fast action, while an older reader will enjoy the deeper references and differences.
It is a story of small witch who, while adhering to the traditional witchy lifestyles such as the use of a broom and a wand, has adopted much that is modern. This includes a broom with a CTC Motor programming that needs occasionally to be updated and alternative programming for the wand.
This non-conforming little witch lives in a flower in a garden, yes, but loves to travel to faraway places like Kathmandu and Mt. Everest. From these places she has absorbed some knowledge of spiritual things which she uses to good effect later in the story.
The story is packed with fascinating details about the witch’s daily life and its events, both beautiful and dangerous, and is narrated with a quirky sense of humour. Special mention must be made of the charming illustrations which add further interest to the tale.
The author writes in an impeccable style which totally engages the reader’s attention until the very last line of text. I thoroughly enjoyed this very original and heart-warming tale and highly recommend it.
